Elakizhi – Patrapodla Swedan
Elakizhi is a special Ayurveda treatment practiced by Kerala Ayurveda practitioners. In this therapy, herbal leaves are used for the treatment. Elakizhi is also known as Patrapotala panda sweda. Elakkizhi is a classical innovative massage in which medicinal leaves are used to tackle joint pain, arthritis, muscle cramps and stress. Elakizhi massage treatments can be done in a perfectly healthy person and in order to improve his/her immunity system, vitality and longevity of life. Elakizhi massage treatments can be offered in different combinations depending on the direction of the physician. Each of these combinations gives a curative and rejuvenating effect after being treated by a specified period and repeated after specified intervals. This is recommended for arthritis conditions, osteo-myelitis, back pain, stiff joints, body pain, spondilitis etc.
